Save Henryton will one day (hopefully soon) be a legally recognized non-profit organization that will serve many purposes. First and foremost, we are wholly dedicated to preserving the History of the Henryton Center through research, education and activism. No matter how the battle to save the old Hospital’s campus and its buildings goes, we will not lose sight of that, our most primary mission.

The people that make up Save Henryton are currently in the process of raising funds to submit their Articles of Incorporation to the state of Maryland to be recognized as a legal organization with all the rights and privileges appertaining. Additionally, we are in the process of raising the funds to submit an application for non-profit status to the IRS.

Collectively, we are students, artists, graduates, professionals, budding environmentalists, and parents with at least one thing in common–we understand the importance of saving the Henryton Center and are dedicated to doing so.
