The purpose for which Save Henryton has been formed, as stated in the Articles of Incorporation is:

“To preserve the History of the Henryton State Hospital through research, education, and activism including, but not limited to, attempting to save the historic buildings themselves. To serve the surrounding community in ways including, but not limited to, as a Community Center with on and off-site educational programs, community outreach, and sustainable practices.”
