Jan 7, 2010 Hope for Henryton

Yesterday, January 6, 2010, Ally Hunter-Harris, Save Henryton’s founder, met with a representative of a green development firm. Said representative spoke on behalf of a philanthropist and the rest of his firm. The meeting was a great success in that a (currently unofficial) partnership was formed between the two groups to finally rescue Henryton from certain demise. The firm’s representative assured Save Henryton that funding is in place to and that they are 100% on board to help the group realize its vision. In the coming weeks we will be able to confirm or deny that Henryton will, in face, be saved.

Jan 3, 2010 Save Henryton’s founder and key members to meet with a Green Development Firm

Wednesday, January 6, Ally Hunter-Harris (founder, website operater) and key founding members of Save Henryton will be meeting with representatives from a Green Development firm. The firm’s representatives wish to remain unnamed for now but have written recently that, “[We have] completed the second draft of our proposal to revitalize Henryton, and we would like to revisit our initial requests to meet with your group. With respect to the vested interests that your group (and ours) has in this historical property, we would like for you to review our proposal.”
The firm’s representatives have assured us that,  “adequate funding is in place, and we believe that our concept  is in line with your vision and mission.”  They went on to say that the Save Henryton team members will not be disappointed.
